COL BKB: Villanova 91, Providence 61

VILLANOVA, Pa., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- JayVaughn Pinkston put in 19 points and Dylan Ennis provided 17 off the bench Sunday, sparking No. 14 Villanova to a 91-61 rout of Providence.

Pinkston connected on 8-of-12 shots from the field and Ennis made 4-of-5 from 3-point range as the Wildcats (13-1, 2-0 Big East) won a second straight on the heels of a Dec. 28 loss to No. 2 Syracuse.

Villanova drained 14-of-26 from beyond the arc overall.

Darrun Hilliard helped out with 15 points.

The Friars (10-5, 0-2) were led by Bryce Cotton, who logged 25 points, six assists and six rebounds.
