COL BKB: UCLA 95, Prairie View A&M 71

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Jordan Adams sank 6-of-8 shots en route to 18 points Saturday and No. 23 UCLA used a fast start to dismiss Prairie View A&M 95-71.

Adams recorded five steals, four rebounds and three assists for the Bruins (9-1), who jumped off to a quick 11-2 lead and extended the advantage to 50-24 at halftime.

Kyle Anderson and Norman Powell each chipped in 13 points. Anderson also had seven rebounds.

Zach LaVine (10 points, five rebounds, three assists) and Travis Wear (10 points) also reached double figures for the Bruins.

The Panthers (2-8) were paced by Montrael Scott with a game-high 27 points.
