YPSILANTI, Mich., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Raphiael Putney scored 15 points for 22nd-ranked Massachusetts Tuesday and the Minutemen stayed unbeaten with a 69-57 defeat of Eastern Michigan.
Trey Davis provided 13 points for the Minutemen (7-0), who posted a victory in their first game as ranked team since 1998.

Cady Lalanne and Chaz Williams put in 12 points each and Derrick Gordon also reached double figures with 10 as UMass extended its best start in three years.
The Eagles (5-2) were led by Karrington Ward with 11 points.
