TULSA, Okla., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker broke the game open in the second half Wednesday, scoring 21 points each in No. 14 Wichita State's 77-54 win over Tulsa.
The game was tied at the half and Tulsa was still behind by only three with 12 minutes to play. The Shockers outscored the Golden Hurricane the rest of the way 28-8.

Cleanthony Early chipped in 12 points for Wichita State (5-0), which played its first game on the road this season.
Tulsa (0-3) was paced by Pat Swilling, Jr. with 12 points.
