COL BKB: New Mexico 109, Charleston Southern 93

ALBUQUERQUE, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Cameron Bairstow hit a career high 29 points and Alex Kirk added 24 Sunday in 21st-ranked New Mexico's 109-93 victory over Charleston Southern.

Bairstow canned 9-of-13 shots. Kirk hauled down 13 rebounds and blocked five shots.

Kendall Williams (20 points, 10 assists), Cullen Neal (11 points, seven assists) and Cleveland Thomas (10 points) also reached double figures for the Lobos (2-0), who connected at a 59.6 percent rate from the field.

The Buccaneers (2-2) were paced by Saah Nimley with 24 points and 12 assists.

Paul Gombwer added 17 points.
