COL BKB: Ohio State 52, Marquette 35

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Shannon Scott and Sam Thompson each scored 13 points Saturday and No. 9 Ohio State snapped 17th-ranked Marquette's long home winning streak, 52-35.

Aaron Craft supplied 10 points and 10 assists for the Buckeyes (3-0), who broke the Golden Eagles' mark of 27 straight home victories.

Ohio State grabbed control of a tie game early in the second half with a 14-3 run and went on to outscore Marquette 33-16 down the stretch.

Todd Mayo (11 points) Davante Gardner (10) reached double figures for the Golden Eagles (2-1), who lost at home for the first time since Dec. 29, 2011.
