ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Caris LeVert had 17 points Friday in helping No. 9 Michigan survive a poor start and eventually outlast Massachusetts-Lowell 69-42.
The Wolverines found themselves deadlocked at halftime, but pulled away in the second period while shooting a modest 37 percent for the game. LaVert made 6-of-11 from the field while Glenn Robinson III scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Wolverines.

Akeem Williams had 15 points for Massachusetts-Lowell, which made only 14-of-49 shots from the field and committed 23 fouls to 11 for Michigan.
The Wolverines outscored Massachusetts-Lowell in the second half 46-19.
