PITTSBURGH, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Tray Woodall scored 13 points for Pittsburgh Saturday in the Panthers' 65-55 win over No. 6 Syracuse.

Woodall was the only player to reach double figures for the Panthers (18-5, 6-4 Big East), who have won five times in their last six games -- handed Syracuse (18-3, 6-2) its second consecutive defeat.

Steven Adams and J.J. Moore both scored eight points. The Pitt bench outscored the Orange reserves 31-3.

C.J. Fair led Syracuse with 20 points and Brandon Triche added 14.

Syracuse shot 36.7 percent from the field and made 3-of-14 shots from 3-point range.
