COL BKB: Arizona 66, Clemson 54

CLEMSON, S.C., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Mark Lyons struck for 20 points for No. 8 Arizona Saturday and the Wildcats shook off pesky Clemson to post a 66-54 non-conference victory.

Nick Johnson provided 13 points, five rebounds and five steals for the Wildcats (7-0), who needed a 20-2 run late in the second half to put the contest away.

Solomon Hill helped out with seven points and 10 rebounds for Arizona.

The Tigers (5-3) got 15 points from Milton Jennings in their second loss in three games.

K.J. McDaniels (13 points) and Adonis Filer (10) also finished in double figures for Clemson.
