NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Jerian Grant heated up in the second half Saturday, firing in 17 late points to spark 21st -ranked Notre Dame over Brigham Young 78-68 in New York.
Grant scored 19 points overall, matching Jack Cooley, who also grabbed 12 rebounds as the Fighting Irish (3-1) claimed the third-place game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at Barclays Center.

Eric Atkins contributed 16 points for Notre Dame, which shot 52 percent from the floor.
The Cougars (2-2) were led by Tyler Haws with 21 points.
