COL BKB: Kentucky 69, Louisville 61

NEW ORLEANS, March 31 (UPI) -- Anthony Davis scored 18 points Saturday and top-seeded Kentucky reached the NCAA Tournament title game with a 69-61 victory over intrastate rival Louisville.

Davis also hauled down 14 rebounds and blocked five shots. Darius Miller added 13 points off the bench for the Wildcats (37-2), who will be seeking their eighth national championship.

They now go on to second-seeded Kansas in Monday's championship game after the Jayhawks edged Ohio State 64-62.

Louisville pulled within two points with 7 1/2 minutes to play, but Miller turned the tide with a 3-pointer to put the Wildcats ahead at 58-51.

Kentucky shot 57.1 percent for the game.

Peyton Siva led the fourth-seeded Cardinals (30-10) with 11 points. Chane Behanan also reached double figures with 10.
