COL BKB: Michigan State 74, Gonzaga 67

SPOKANE, Wash., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Draymond Green poured in 34 points Saturday, going 11-for-13 from the field in Michigan State's 74-67 win over co-No. 22 Gonzaga.

Green drained four of his five 3-point tries en route to the career-high performance for the Spartans (8-2), who won their eighth straight after starting the season with two losses.

Green's 3-pointer 2 1/2 minutes into the second half put the Spartans ahead for good at 40-38.

Keith Appling chipped in with eight points and dished off seven assists for MSU.

Gonzaga (5-2) was led by David Stockton with 19 points. Robert Sacre added 16 points with seven rebounds.
