COL BKB: Ohio State 107, VMI 74

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- William Buford had 23 points as part of a 67 percent Ohio State shooting performance Wednesday, sending the No. 3 Buckeyes to a 107-74 win over VMI.

Ohio State made 46-of-68 shots from the field and hit on half of its 10 3-point attempts.

Buford added six assists while Jared Sullinger had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Buckeyes (5-0).

The only margin of victory less than 30 points for Ohio State this season came in a seven-point decision over Florida.

The Buckeyes owned a 57-44 halftime lead and then held the Keydets scoreless during a 4-minute stretch early in the second half.

Keith Gabriel paced VMI (3-2) with 21 points.
