Leonard's victory moves him up to No. 16

WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Justin Leonard moved up 24 places to No. 16 in the latest Official World Golf Ranking.

Leonard's big gain on the list, which is released each Monday, followed his three-stroke victory in the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

Vijay Singh remains No. 1, a position he has held since September, followed by Tiger Woods and Ernie Els.

Retief Goosen is No. 4 and Phil Mickelson No. 5.

Next are Sergia Garcia (6), Padraig Harrington (7), Davis Love III (8), Mike Weir (9) and Stewart Cink (10).

Stuart Appleby is No. 11 followed by Adam Scott (12), Darren Clarke (13), Miguel Angel Jimenez (14), Chris DiMarco (15), Leonard, Chad Campbell (17), David Toms (18), Luke Donald (19) and Todd Hamilton (20).
