WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Sierra Nevada Corporation has given Telephonics a contract to support their production of MODI II electronic countermeasure systems for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Under the contract, valued at $18 million, Telephonics will help Sierra Nevada produce 580 Modi II units. Telephonics currently has the man-pack jamming device in full-rate production, and expects production to be complete by the end of summer 2016.
