OnePlus 5T to be unveiled at Nov.16 launch event

Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Chinese manufacturer OnePlus' latest smartphone, the OnePlus 5T, is expected to go on sale in North America and Europe on Nov. 21, the company announced.

OnePlus said it will unveil the upgraded model of its OnePlus 5 at a launch event Nov. 16 at 11 a.m in Brooklyn, N.Y., five days before the phone goes on sale.

Tickets for the show will be available for purchase beginning noon Nov. 8 for $40. The event also will be streamed online.

Details about the 5T, including its design and pricing, are expected to be revealed during the event.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has hinted at the phone's pricing, saying $600 will be enough to purchase the OnePlus 5T.
