LONDON, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- William and Kate, the duke and duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their second child, announced Buckingham Palace Monday.
"The queen and members of both families are delighted with the news," the palace said.

The duchess was ill with morning sickness Monday morning and is being treated at Kensington palace. She cancelled a scheduled engagement in Oxford with her husband.
The royal couple's first child, Prince George, was born in July 2013. The baby will be fourth in line to the throne.
