NATO soldier killed by individual in Afghan security forces uniform

KABUL, Afghanistan, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- An individual in an Afghan security forces uniform shot and killed a NATO soldier Sunday in eastern Afghanistan, authorities said.

"The International Security Assistance Force and Afghan National Security Forces have secured the scene. ISAF and ANSF forces are conducting an investigation, and more details will be released as appropriate," ISAF said in a statement.

The exact location of the killing was not disclosed and the identity of the victim is not being released, the Khaama Press reported.

Last month, four NATO soldiers were killed by suspects in Afghan security forces uniforms.
