AMMAN, Jordan, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Fifty Bangladeshi workers suffered food poisoning in Jordan's al-Hassan industrial city after apparently eating from the same spoiled meal.
Amman's daily al-Rai reported Wednesday that workers from a clothing factory at the industrial zone in north Jordan started showing symptoms of food poisoning Tuesday night and were taken to a local hospital.

Police said it started an investigation into the incident.
Hundreds of foreign, mainly Asiatic, workers are employed in factories in al-Hassan industrial city, which is part of the Qualified Industrial Zones whose products enter U.S. markets without customs fees.
