The money was awarded to Christian Presley and Alan Cheeks, who said they were injured in the fight at the Opium Garden in Miami Beach, Fla., Halloween night, WPLG-TV reported Tuesday.

The fight broke out after someone grabbed Jose's date, Amber Glick, who was wearing a costume made of feathers and a bikini.

Canseco is one of the primary figures in baseball's steroid scandal. The retired outfielder wrote a book about the use of steroids entitled, "Juiced," and appeared before a Congressional committee on the subject last month.
