NHL: Nashville 4, San Jose 3

NASHVILLE, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Scott Hartnell scored the game-winning goal Thursday night at 17:31 of the third period as Nashville edged San Jose, 4-3.

Hartnell also scored on the power play at 18:22 of the first period.

Alexander Radulov scored his first NHL goal in the first period. Paul Kariya also scored a goal, Marek Zidlicky had three assists and goalie Tomas Vokoun made 24 saves on 27 shots for the Predators (5-3-1).

Nashville has 11 points and leads the Central Division.

Mark Bell, Milan Michalek and Patrick Marleau all scored once, Joe Thornton assisted on all three goals and Vesa Toskala gave up four goals on 29 shots for the Sharks (7-4-0), who are third in the Pacific Division with 14 points.

On the power play, San Jose was 2-for-4 and Nashville went 1-for-5.
