PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- The six original cast members of the classic sitcom Friends will take part in a Feb. 21 special honoring television director James Burrows, NBC said Wednesday.

Starring Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, the New York-set comedy ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.

"Hoping that all six of them will be in the same room at the same time, but I'm not sure we can logistically pull that off," E! Online quoted NBC's Robert Greenblatt as saying at the 2016 Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena.

Fans and reporters frequently pester the Friends veterans about the possibility of a reunion movie or limited television revival, however the stars have said for years that is very unlikely to happen. Cox, Aniston and Kudrow did, however, reunite for a Friends sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2014.
