Expected to appear as well are Matt LeBlanc, Hugh Bonneville, Diana Rigg, Kyle MacLachlan, Elisabeth Moss, and Saturday Night Live cast members Jay Pharaoh, Colin Jost and Michael Che. Hoda Kotb, Gilbert Gottfried, Cheryl Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jeff Dye and the Australian comedy trio SketchShe will be there, too.

A short film documenting the creation of Game of Thrones: The Musical, written by Coldplay and featuring a number of the HBO show's real cast members, will be one of the telethon's many highlights, along with John Mellencamp and Keith Urban's performance of "Pink Houses."

The telethon was inspired by a traditional British event created by writer-director Richard Curtis to raise money and change the lives of children living in poverty. Curtis is executive producing the American version of the program.
