'Superstore' star Ben Feldman welcomes first child

Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Superstore star Ben Feldman recently became a first-time dad.

The 37-year-old actor's rep confirmed Wednesday to Entertainment Tonight that Feldman's wife, actress Michelle Mulitz, gave birth to son Charlie Milton on Oct. 24.

Feldman and Mulitz told People their baby boy was born while the Los Angeles Dodgers were playing the Houston Astros in the World Series.

"Charlie Milton Feldman was born on the Dodgers' second home run in the series. He loves sleeping all day and partying all night," the couple joked. The pair named their son in part after Mulitz's grandfather.

"Milton was Michelle's grandfather and Charlie is a [expletive] adorable name!" Feldman explained.

Feldman and Mulitz, who married in October 2013, announced in June that they were expecting. The actor couldn't help but gush about Mulitz while confirming the news to People.

"I'm insanely lucky to have a wife with enough intelligence, compassion and responsibility to make it look like I know what I am doing here," he said.

Feldman plays Jonah Simms on Superstore, which co-stars America Ferrera and returned for a third season on NBC in September. Mulitz has appeared on Numb3rs and NCIS, in addition to a number of short films.
