Bella Hadid talks relationship with The Weeknd

NEW YORK, May 10 (UPI) -- Bella Hadid says she loves watching her boyfriend, Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, work on what he loves.

The model, who appeared on the latest cover of Elle magazine, said she loves seeing her musician beau "happy and passionate about his art."

"Being able to see how he works, and put both of our workplaces together, turned out to be really beautiful," she said.

Hadid, 19, and Tesfaye, 26, have been together for about a year, having been first linked during the spring of 2015. The couple made their red carpet debut in mid-February at this year's Grammy Awards.

In a recent interview, The Weeknd said he dropped out of Rihanna's European tour for his own work.

"Creatively, some magic is happening right now, and I don't want to lose it," he told Vogue magazine for this month's issue. "It could be an album or it could be something else, but whatever it is, music is being made."
