Nick Jonas on dating rumors: 'I am not in a relationship'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Nick Jonas wants people to know he's really, truly single.

The 23-year-old actor addressed his relationship status in a series of tweets Monday after being spotted with a "mystery blonde" over the weekend.

"I've now been romantically linked to two of my friends wife and girlfriend while third wheeling at dinner with them. #sofunnyiforgottolaugh," the star wrote. "These people are very good at cropping people out of pictures that make their story less interesting."

"I've been very open about the fact that I am not in a relationship with anyone right now. I am pretty sure I am the most reliable source," he added.

Jonas was linked to Lily Collins this month after a ski trip, but the 26-year-old actress' dad, singer Phil Collins, later said the pair are just friends. Jonas was also rumored to be dating Kate Hudson, whom he's been seen with several times over the past few months.

"Kate's incredible," he said of the 36-year-old actress in the February/March issue of Complex. "We had an unbelieveable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful."

Jonas told the magazine he's "very much single," but has been linked to Hudson since. The actress called Jonas "a great guy" and "a sweetheart" on CBS Good Morning last week in response to the actor's comment about their "connection."
