NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Kaia Gerber will star in the Chrome Hearts spring campaign after landing her first fashion campaign with the lifestyle brand.
The company, which produces jewelry and accessories, announced the news Tuesday on Instagram by sharing photos of the 14-year-old model wearing pieces from the new collection.
"#chromehearts spring 16 ++ @kaiagerber," the brand wrote. Chrome Hearts co-owner Laurie Lynn Stark, who photographed the campaign, told CR Fashion Book Gerber embodies the company's "youthful, yet timeless spirit."
"What a privilege it has been to watch Kaia blossom into her own," Stark said. "Our families have been dear friends for so long so this was emotional for me -- Kaia is an incredible talent, truly finding her own style as a model."
Gigi Hadid and Suki Waterhouse are among the models who have appeared in Chrome Hearts ads. Gerber previously modeled in spreads for Interview magazine and Vogue Italia, and signed a contract with IMG Models at age 13 in July.

Gerber is daughter to supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, who married in 1998. Crawford, 49, told fans she may keep modeling in a post Monday after announcing her intent to retire at 50 in the United Airlines Rhapsody magazine.
"Every year, I tell my kids I'm retiring. It's a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me," she wrote. "While it's true that I'm eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my business, friends and family -- I'm not making any final statements (not all headlines tell the whole story!). "
"I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years -- and if that time has taught me anything, it's this: never say never," she tempered. "Thanks for all the support, I'm so excited for what 2016 holds! xo Cindy."
