Navy SeaPort-E award for Noblis

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Noblis Inc., a non-profit science and technology organization, has won U.S. Navy approval to provide with technical, engineering and management services.

The work, which will be garnered through competitive task orders, will come under the Naval Sea Systems Command's SeaPort Enhanced program, which gives the Navy with a large pool of support service providers in 22 functional areas.

Noblis said that under the prime indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award, it's eligible for task orders in 21 of the functional areas, including acquisition services and support, program management support, technical advisory services and systems engineering.

The contract awarded this summer runs until April 2014.

Subcontractors in Noblis' team include etaPartners LLC, Horsley Witten Group Inc., Integrity Management Consulting Inc., IntelliTech Systems Inc. and Redhorse Corp.

Formerly Mitretek Systems, Noblis serves government, other non-profits and corporations in a number of areas. Among them: national and homeland security, transportation, healthcare, criminal justice, energy and the environment, public safety and space.
