Canon says AeroTech will co-locate with other advanced technology trade fairs -- Pacific Design & Manufacturing, ATX West, Precision Tec, Electronics West, PLASTEC West -- for the largest event for advanced manufacturing industry in the county.

"Already, 5,200 West Coast aerospace and defense industry professionals attend this 2,200 exhibitor event," said Joshua Dome, sales director for Canon's event division. "California's $30 billion aerospace and defense sector needs a dedicated industry show and AeroTech is it."

Canon, which has headquarters in Los Angeles, projected that 200 exhibitors will participate in AeroTech, showcasing software, materials, components, contract services, electronics and equipment used in aerospace and defense products.

"AeroTech is a natural extension of our 375,000-net-square-foot Anaheim event," Dome said.
