NEW YORK, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- An antique bat swung by baseball pioneer "Shoeless" Joe Jackson hit a home run with buyers in New York Saturday, the auctioneers said.

ATLANTA, July 20 (UPI) -- Thieves burglarized the Atlanta home of baseball Hall of Fame slugger Hank Aaron and stole jewelry and two cars while he and his wife were away, police said.
