Lucille Ball's iconic polka-dot dress sells at auction

Lucille Ball's iconic "Lucy Ricardo" black and white polka-dot dress worn on "I Love Lucy" has sold for $140,000 -- $168,000 after house fees -- at a Profiles in History sale of Hollywood memorabilia.

The cane Charlie Chaplain used in "Modern Times" sold for $420,000 including fees.

Costumes from "Sound of Music" went for $1.56 million, including the dress Julie Andrews wore while singing "Do-Re-Mi." A dress worn by Judy Garland as Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" sold for $360,000.

The "Sankara" stone and pyrotechnic bag from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" sold for $60,000 before auction house fees. An outfit Jeff Bridges wore as The Dude in "The Big Lebowski" sold for $54,000.

Jim Carrey's "complete Riddler white rhinestone unitard & glitter-covered creepers with illuminated skull cane" from "Batman Forever" sold for $8,000.

For film fans with lower budgets, the Vatican archives iron crucifix from "Angels and Demons" sold for $300.
