Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond has filed for custody of their two children, a day after their five-year-old Usher V nearly drowned in a pool accident. Raymond says the 34-year-old singer creates a 'dangerous environment' for the kids.
Usher V got his arm stuck in a pool drain Monday while he was in the care of the singer's aunt, Rita Oden. Oden and a maid both jumped in and tried to save the boy before a workman at the house freed the boy, then revived him with CPR before he was rushed to intensive care.
The boy remains in intensive care in Atlanta, Georgia, but doctors expect him to recover.
Usher's ex-wife claims he is 'abdicating' his parental responsibilities by letting other people care for their children, Usher V and four-year Naviyd, according to the complaint.
This comes just a year after Tameka's 11-year-old son Kile, Usher's stepson, tragically died in a jet ski accident.
At the time of the accident, the two were still in a custody battle over their two children. Usher has had primary custody since their split in 2009.
