Five Britons stabbed, wounded in brawl at Spanish island resort

MAGALUF, Spain, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Police on the Spanish island of Majorca arrested a Portuguese disc jockey accused of stabbing and wounding five British tourists in a brawl, police said.

The disc jockey, 25, arrested but not charged, allegedly pulled a knife on a group of British men he believed responsible for attacking his brother with a piece of glass earlier in the evening Friday, TheLocal.es reported.

At least 20 Britons were involved in the fight outside a pub in Magaluf and five were hospitalized with stab wounds, the report said.

The disc jockey was believed to have grown up in England, TheLocal.es said.
