THE HAGUE, Netherlands, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- The Netherlands' Princess Beatrix, 75, had surgery to repair her cheekbone, which was broken in a fall, government officials said.
The RVD, the government agency that handles publicity for the Dutch Royal Family, said Beatrix fell while with family.

She is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days while she recovers, Nrc.nl reported Sunday. After that, she'll continue her recovery at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague, the website said.
