Suicide bomber in tribal Pakistan kills eight

HANGU, Pakistan, July 8 (UPI) -- Pakistani officials said at least eight people were killed and 10 more injured in a suicide bomb attack Monday aimed at two provincial tribal elders.

The attack took place in the town of Hangu near the Afghanistan border. Witnesses told Geo News a suicide bomber rammed a motorcycle into a car carrying the tribal elders, Malik Habibullah and Mumtaz Malik.

It was not immediately clear if the two men were among those killed in the attack.
