Iran about to resume uranium enrichment

TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said Wednesday his country is about to resume enriching uranium.

The Iranian News Agency, IRNA, quoted Kharrazi as saying "no one can stop the uranium enrichment process in Iran."

Kharrazi said Iran is talking with three European countries about its nuclear program "in order to erase their worries and concerns regarding any intention to produce nuclear weapons."

He also said negotiations with the European Union are bound to continue until mid-March.

"In case these talks reach positive results, they will continue, and Iran's evaluation of these talks will be decisive," he added.

Iran suspended uranium enrichment last year when it started negotiating its nuclear program with the EU.
