Bomb scare on MAS flight to London

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Hundreds of passengers on a Malaysia Airlines flight to London Tuesday were evacuated when a Vietnamese man claimed he had a bomb, airline officials said.

The flight was delayed for four hours at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport after a passenger alerted crew members that a 25-year-old Vietnamese student seated beside him claimed he was carrying a bomb in his bag, the New Straits Times newspaper reported.
