OMB Director Mitch Daniels resigns

WASHINGTON, May 6 (UPI) -- Mitch Daniels Jr., the man who prepares the federal budget and supervises the administration of other Executive Branch agencies, resigned Tuesday. The White House said Daniels, head of the Office of Management and Budget, tendered his resignation to the president and it will take effect in 30 days.
