D.A. inclined to seek death for Peterson

MODESTO, Calif., April 24 (UPI) -- The district attorney in Modesto has indicated he is inclined to seek the death penalty if Scott Peterson is convicted for killing his wife and unborn son. Stanislaus County District Attorney Jim Brazelton said, however, his comments on a television program airing Thursday were not an official announcement.
