Louisiana voters to decide hot Senate race

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Louisiana voters went to the polls Saturday to decide whether Republican Suzanne Haik Terrell can spoil Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu's bid for a second term. State election officials predicted 40 percent to 45 percent of the state's 2.8 million voters would cast ballots in the race to determine this year's final Senate contest.
