Japanese boy beaten in US dies

LONG BEACH, Calif., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- A 4-year-old Japanese boy died Sunday night at a hospital in Long Beach, Calif., of injuries he suffered last week in an alleged beating at his mother's home. Kenneth Ogasawara was visiting the United States with his grandmother when he was allegedly assaulted by his mother's boyfriend.
