Nuke terror alert renews security debate

WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Media reports that U.S. nuclear power plants were on a heightened state of alert Thursday stirred up the debate over the security of such facilities. Nuclear critics say plants aren't sturdy enough to withstand a suicide plane or truck bomb attack. The industry maintains its security forces are well trained.
