LeBron James leads All-NBA First Team

NEW YORK, May 23 (UPI) -- NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James was a unanimous choice for the 2012-13 All-NBA First Team, the league announced Thursday.

James, who plays for the Miami Heat, was named on the first team of all 199 ballots, making the All-NBA First Team for a sixth consecutive season and seventh time overall.

James earlier this year was selected the NBA MVP for a fourth time.

Also on the All-NBA First Team were Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, San Antonio's Tim Duncan, Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul and Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant.

It is the eighth consecutive year and 11th season overall that Bryant was a All-NBA first-team selection while Duncan picked up his 10th such honor, but first since 2007.

Durant has been voted to the first team each of the last four seasons and Paul has been a first-teamer for three seasons.

The All-NBA Second Team consist of New York's Carmelo Anthony, Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin, Memphis' Marc Gasol, San Antonio's Tony Parker and Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook.

Those on the third team are: Indiana's Paul George, Golden State's David Lee, Los Angeles Lakers' Dwight Howard., Miami Dwyane Wade and Houston's James Harden.
