NHL: Dallas 5, San Jose 4 (SO)

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 7 (UPI) -- Dallas' Jamie Benn scored against Antti Niemi for the only goal of a shootout Sunday and the Stars cooled off San Jose 5-4.

Alex Chiasson, playing in just his third career NHL game, scored two goals, and Loui Eriksson and Eric Nystrom scored one each for Dallas, which logged a second straight win.

Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves, while Niemi finished with 30.

Tommy Wingels, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, T.J. Galiardi and Brent Burns each scored for the Sharks, whose winning streak was snapped a seven games.
