MLB: Arizona 11, Los Angeles Dodgers 4

PHOENIX, May 24 (UPI) -- Ryan Roberts had three RBI and Justin Upton hit two-run home run Wednesday to help the Arizona Diamondbacks clobber the Los Angeles Dodgers 11-4.

Jason Kubel and Aaron Hill each drove in two runs, and Hill and Willie Bloomquist each had three hits for Arizona, which salvaged the finale of a three-game series against LA.

Joe Saunders (3-3) started and went 6 1/3 innings for the Diamondbacks, allowing four runs on seven hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.

Arizona handed Dodgers' starter Ted Lilly (5-1) his first loss since Sept. 12. Lilly -- who entered the game with an ERA of 1.79 and personal eight-game winning streak in his last 10 starts -- went 3 1/3 innings, giving up eight runs on nine hits with five walks and three strikeouts.

Elian Herrera had two doubles and an RBI for LA, which had won six straight coming into the game.

The Dodgers got a solo home run from A.J. Ellis and an RBI apiece from Dee Gordon and James Loney.
