NHL: San Jose 5, Boston 2

BOSTON, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Patrick Marleau had a goal and two assists for San Jose, which scored three times in a 6-minute span of the third period Tuesday and topped Boston 5-2.

Rob Blake, Milan Michalek, Joe Thornton and Mike Grier also scored for the Sharks, who ended a three-game losing streak.

Milan Lucic notched both Boston goals.

San Jose's Evgeni Nabokov stopped 28 shots and Boston's Tim Thomas blocked 26.
