Brooks has not yet confirmed his participation in the event. All proceeds will go to the victims of the Sept. 11 tragedy. MARTINA TOPS THE LIST Opry member Martina McBride's new album, "Greatest Hits," debuted at the top of the Billboard Top Country album charts by selling over 102,000 in its first week. This places it at No. 5 on the charts top 200 albums. A portion of the proceeds from the album will benefit the Red Cross. Advertisement TRAVIS HELPS RED CROSS Opry member Travis Tritt is doing his part to help the victims of the Sept. 11 tragedy. Not only is he spokesperson for the Red Cross but he has filmed a series of public service announcements for the organization using his single "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" as the theme song. Travis will perform a number of concerts this year for the Red Cross. He has long been associated with the Red Cross and performed benefit concerts and donated to the Flood and Tornado relief.
