LOS ANGELES, April 2 (UPI) -- Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham star in a new trailer for Spy.

The 44-year-old actress portrays Susan Cooper, an unassuming C.I.A. analyst who works behind the scenes at the agency. The character gains firsthand experience in the field when she goes undercover to take down arms dealer Rayna Boyanov (Rose Byrne).

Statham co-stars as Rick Ford, a gruff but talented agent who teams up with Cooper on the mission. Jude Law portrays Cooper's former partner, Bradley Fine, with Miranda Hart as Nancy, Bobby Cannavale as De Luca, Allison Janney as Elaine and Morena Baccarin as Karen.

Spy is helmed by Paul Feig, who previously collaborated with McCarthy on Bridesmaids and The Heat. The actress and director will also team up on a female-led Ghostbusters movie, while Statham is scheduled for Mechanic: Resurrection with Jessica Alba.
