PRINCE WILLIAM: Britain's Prince William is to inherit $15.5 million, his share of his late mother Princess Diana's estate, on his 30th birthday Thursday, UsMagazine.com said.

The princess was killed in an August 1997 car crash when she was 36. She left behind for her sons, William and Harry, most of her estate, including stocks, jewelry, clothing and money from her divorce settlement from Prince Charles, UsMagazine.com said.

William, an officer with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force, married Kate Middleton in a lavish ceremony in London in April 2011.


PEARL JAM: Rickey Charles Goodrich has been charged in Seattle with stealing $380,000 from Pearl Jam's management company, court records show.

Prosecutors said Goodrich, 54, abused his position as chief financial officer at Curtis Management and stole from the firm in the four years before he was fired in September 2010, Seattlepi.com reported.

Seattle Police said Goodrich's thefts cost the management company $566,000, including investigative expenses.

"We are deeply saddened by this situation," Kelly Curtis of Curtis Management said in a statement issued to Seattlepi.com Tuesday. He also said he is "looking forward to a resolution."

ARETHA FRANKLIN: Music icon Aretha Franklin says she is looking forward to performing at the Fox Theatre this week in her hometown of Detroit.

Franklin, 70, told the Detroit Free Press the venue holds special memories of her "sitting as a little girl in the balcony watching Lionel Hampton."

Friday's show comes as her "voice is doing absolutely fabulous -- just better, clear, higher, stronger than ever," she said after battling health issues in recent years.

The Grammy Award winner is scheduled to perform in New Orleans, Las Vegas and Los Angeles this summer, the newspaper said, adding she and producer Clive Davis are to begin recording a new album set for release this fall.


'SISTER ACT:' The Broadway musical "Sister Act," starring Raven-Symone, is to close in August, producers announced Wednesday.

Based on the 1992 music-infused convent comedy by the same title, the show premiered in New York March 24, 2011, at the Broadway Theatre after a 2009 London debut.

Playbill.com said when it closes Aug. 26, "Sister Act" will have played 28 previews and 561 performances at the Broadway Theatre. It officially opened there April 20, 2011.

A national tour is to begin in October in Toronto.
