LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence will star in the upcoming U.S. movie "Death at a Funeral" alongside fellow comedian Chris Rock, an industry source says.

Morgan's involvement in the Screen Gems and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment production represents the "30 Rock" star's ongoing transition into film, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Morgan previously agreed to star with actor Bruce Willis in the upcoming Kevin Smith-directed action-comedy "A Couple of Cops."

"Funeral," a remake of a 2007 Frank Oz film, will add another film credit to Lawrence's resume, which includes "Bad Boys," "Big Momma's House" and "National Security."

The Reporter said the new version of "Funeral" is to be directed by Neil LaBute and will also star Danny Glover, James Marsden, Zoe Saldana, Columbus Short, Loretta Devine, Ron Glass and Regina Hall.
